Space Telescope for Apple TV

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Summary

Space Telescope does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Everything the app does happens either on your Apple TV or by fetching publicly available content from NASA, ESA, ESO, and Sen directly.

Information we don't collect

Network requests

To show images and videos, the app fetches content directly from the following public sources. None of these requests include any identifier for you:

These services have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle the underlying network traffic (your IP address, request timing, etc.), just as they would for any visitor to their sites.

Local storage on your Apple TV

Space Telescope stores a few preferences locally on your device so the app remembers how you like it between launches. These never leave your Apple TV:

You can reset all of this by deleting the app from your Apple TV.

Children

Space Telescope is safe for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either. The app is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date above. Since the app doesn't collect anything, we don't expect meaningful changes.
