Privacy Policy

Summary
Blur works entirely on your device. The photos you blur are processed on your iPhone or iPad and never leave it unless you share or save them yourself. We don't run servers for Blur, and there are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Information we don't collect
- We do not ask for or collect your name, email, or any other identifying information.
- We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
- We do not use advertising or advertising identifiers.
- We do not share any data with third parties, because we do not have any data to share.
Photos and the camera
- When you choose a photo, Blur uses the system photo picker, which gives the app only the photo you pick. Blur can't see the rest of your library.
- When you take a photo, Blur uses the camera only while the camera screen is open, and the photo isn't stored anywhere until you save a wallpaper.
- Saving a wallpaper asks for permission to add photos. That permission only lets Blur add wallpapers to your library; it can't read the photos in it.
- When you share a wallpaper, it goes only to the app or person you choose in the share sheet.
Contacting us and ratings
Contact Support opens an email in your Mail app with Blur's version, your device model and its iOS version filled in, so we can help. You can read or change it before you send it, and nothing is sent unless you do.
Blur may ask you to rate it using Apple's standard rating prompt, which Apple handles.
Local storage on your device
Blur keeps only a few settings on your device:
- Which of the included wallpapers to show next.
- How many wallpapers you've saved, so it asks for a rating only once you've used it a while.
Deleting the app removes them.
Children
Blur is safe for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children either.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date above.
